In short
The 1-Day Content System is one planned production day, filmed at your business, that gets edited into months of ready-to-use content: short videos, longer films, photography, graphics and written posts. You give it two to three hours once; planning, filming and editing are handled for you. One recent client campaign built on it saw 3.5x the enquiries and revenue.
Every business owner I meet says a version of the same three sentences. "I know we should be doing content." "We just never have time." "We tried for a month and it fizzled out."
None of that is a character flaw. Creating content consistently is a full-time craft, and you already have a full-time job: running the business. So I built a system that removes the owner from the content treadmill almost entirely.
How does the 1-Day Content System work?
The 1-Day Content System is a single, carefully planned production day at your business that gets edited and repurposed into months of ready-to-use content. We plan first, then I come to you for one focused day: interviews, Q&As, promotional footage, photography of you, your team and your work. You talk about what you know; I direct, film and ask the questions your customers are already asking.
Then the day gets multiplied. That single session is edited and repurposed into a complete content library:
- Professional videos, short-form for social and long-form for your website and YouTube
- Photography of your business, your team and your work, ending the stock-photo era
- Educational and promotional content that answers real customer questions and showcases what you sell
- Hundreds of social media posts, ready to use, planned so your channels stay active for months
This is the content day model I have refined over fifteen years of production: film and produce in one concentrated session, then turn that single day into weeks, even months, of content across social media, ads, your website and email. One shoot, an entire marketing system fed.
What the day itself looks like
The plan comes first. Before anything is booked, we agree exactly what the day needs to produce: which questions we will answer on camera, which services deserve promotion, what photography your website and social channels are missing. The exact scope and price are agreed before we book the day, so there are no surprises and no scope-creep conversations later. Every asset has a job to do before it is ever filmed.
The day itself typically runs in three parts. First, a seated interview: a guided conversation about your business, your services and the story behind them. You are not reading a script or performing; you are answering questions about the thing you know better than anyone. Second, a Q&A session, where we work through the specific questions your customers ask before they buy, the ones you answer on the phone every week. Each answer becomes its own piece of content later. Third, promotional footage and photography: you and your team at work, your premises, the details that make your business look like itself rather than a stock library.
Everything is directed for you. You never have to wonder where to look, what to say next or what to do with your hands; that is my job, and after fifteen years of putting nervous first-timers at ease alongside seasoned executives, it is a well-practised one.
How much of your time does it take?
Very little, by design. Two to three hours of your time, once. No scripts to write, no ideas to generate, no editing to learn, no "we must post something this week" guilt. Planning, filming and content creation are all handled. You go back to running the business; the content keeps publishing.
What actually gets delivered
The day is the raw material. The weeks after it are where the multiplication happens, in the edit. A typical delivery includes:
- Vertical clips cut for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts, built for how people actually scroll
- Longer films for your website, YouTube and presentations, from brand story to service explainers
- Photography sets for your website, profiles, listings and ads
- Graphics that keep every channel looking like one coherent brand
- Blog and written material drawn from your own on-camera answers, in your own words
Then the same material is put to work everywhere. The interview answer that becomes a sixty-second reel also becomes a paragraph on your service page, a section of a blog post, an email to your list and the creative for a paid campaign. That is the quiet economics of the model: you pay for one production day, and the output feeds four channels at once.
Why it works
Most service businesses lose clients for one of two quiet reasons: people have not seen them, or people have seen them but do not yet trust them. Visibility and trust. Consistent content fixes both, and it is the only marketing that fixes both at once:
- Builds trust and credibility before the first conversation ever happens
- Positions you as the expert in your space, because you are visibly answering the questions others dodge
- Keeps you consistently visible, so when the need arises, yours is the name that comes to mind
- Generates more enquiries, which become clients, which become revenue
And it does all of that without you becoming a "content creator". That is the entire point.
A real result
On one recent client campaign built on this system, enquiries and revenue rose to 3.5x what they were before, not through any single viral moment, but by making the content consistent and strategic instead of occasional and random. That is one client and one campaign, not a promise. But consistency is the mechanism, and the day is just how we make consistency possible for a busy owner.
Where the fifteen years come in
This system is the distilled version of what I have done for over fifteen years in content marketing, working with brands and individuals including Gary Vaynerchuk, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Direct Line, and dozens of business owners across the UK and Europe. The multi-day productions I ran for big brands taught me exactly what moves people; the 1-Day Content System packages that for businesses that do not have a big brand's calendar or budget. The full story is in From a teenager's fascination to Berkshire Hathaway: why I built Pikul.
Websites and ads that put the content to work
Content needs somewhere to send people, which is why the Content Engine extends naturally into two further pieces for clients who want them.
The first is conversion-built websites and landing pages. A page designed around a clear next step, so the person who just watched your video has an obvious, easy way to enquire, is worth more than any amount of decoration. The second is paid advertising on Facebook, Instagram and Google, set up and managed end to end; I have written honestly about when that is a good idea in Paid ads for service businesses: when they work, when they burn money. The content day feeds both: the same footage and photography become your ad creative and your landing-page assets, which is exactly why filming once, properly, beats drip-feeding one channel at a time.
Neither is compulsory, and neither comes as a fixed package. Ads and websites are scoped on a short call, with a clear, itemised quote before any work begins.
Content in, booked clients out
One honest caveat, because it matters: content brings attention and enquiries, and enquiries only become clients if they are answered fast. The numbers on speed are stark. Velocify's analysis of roughly 3.5 million leads found conversion can be up to 391% higher when an enquiry gets a reply within the first minute. And most buyers, in our experience, simply go with whoever answers first.
Content that generates enquiries at 9pm on a Saturday needs something answering at 9pm on a Saturday. That is why the Content Engine pairs naturally with our AI receptionist: the content makes people message you, the AI makes sure nobody messages into silence. The whole chain is mapped in Attention in, booked clients out: the only growth system that matters.
Is it for you?
The 1-Day Content System is built for business owners who know they should be creating content but lack the time, the ideas, the consistency or the know-how. Clinics, real estate and property firms, law firms, financial services, home improvement, automotive, trades, consultants, agencies: anyone whose clients need to trust them before buying. If your customers research you before they contact you, and almost all of them do, this is the trust they go looking for.
The exact scope and quote are agreed on a short call before we book the day, so there are no surprises; the detail is on the content service page.
And if you know someone who fits that description, forward them this page. That is how most of my best client relationships have started.
The system has also grown a second act since this was written: content that can answer back. Posts wired to DM funnels turn comments into booked clients while the attention is still warm, and the same material feeds your visibility in AI assistants, which increasingly decide who gets recommended. One production day, working three jobs: the full picture is on the content page.

Common questions
What is the 1-Day Content System?
The 1-Day Content System is a single, planned production day at your business, filmed and directed for you, that is edited into months of ready-to-use content: short vertical videos, longer films, photography, graphics and written material. You get an entire content library from one day instead of trying to create something new every week.
How much of my time does it actually take?
Two to three hours, once. That covers the seated interview, the Q&A session and the promotional footage. Planning, filming, editing and turning it all into finished content is handled for you, so after the production day you go back to running the business while the content keeps publishing.
What if I hate being on camera?
Almost everyone says that, and almost everyone relaxes within twenty minutes. It is a guided conversation about the thing you know best, your own business. You answer questions; the directing, and the editing that makes you look and sound sharp, is my job.
What do you actually get from one filming day?
A typical delivery includes vertical clips cut for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts, longer films for your website and YouTube, photography sets for your site and profiles, graphics that keep every channel consistent, and written material drawn from your own on-camera answers. The same material also feeds your ads and email, so one day supplies several channels at once.
How long does the content actually last?
A properly planned day produces content that feeds your channels for months: evergreen educational pieces that stay relevant, promotional assets and a long run of social posts. Seasonal businesses often split the delivery so content matches the calendar, and many clients book a fresh day once or twice a year to keep the library topped up.
How much does it cost?
Every business needs a different scope, so there is no one-size price. We agree exactly what the day needs to produce, and the full quote, on a short call before anything is booked, so there are no surprises later. The easiest starting point is the free Strategy Call, which looks at your whole enquiry-to-client picture first.
